Yoga with Lyonne Sundari


Lyonne's yoga practice in the morning is not just a simple stretch! She is perfectly preparing you for the energy work to come. Her meditations consist of a gentle guidance to go deeper with the breath into a place of stillness and always wrapped in a warm love. But her sessions are also intense with lots of purification through breath work and holding asanas for extended intervals. She always brings something new to each session, aiding you to heal traumas and clear lower vibrations still hidden. And she never leaves you in a contracted state. Whenever someone is passing through a hardship in their evolution, Lyonne is there to make sure that there is a harmonious closure. Every morning, I would feel excited to know that we are doing real work on ourselves, that there is something new to come!


Deepflow  Yoga was devised by Lyonne and integrates the various yoga styles and ideologies she studied and embraces. The style, which is influenced by Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga with the focuse on energy work.


Also includes sun salutations (Surya Namaskara) and concentrates on five principles:

      proper exercise (asanas),  

 proper breathing (pranayama),

 proper relaxation (savasana),

 positive thinking (vedanta), 

 meditation (dhyana).


The asanas are performed in a graceful flow and the practice awakens energy through each chakra and purifies, balances and activates it, facilitating the healing of emotional blocks and the release of physical tension. This yoga style focuses on spiritual awareness and  encourages strength and flexibility while ensuring a good physical workout.

Otherwise known as Ashtanga Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa consists of a sequence of postures and synchronised breathing while flowing from one posture to the next. The practice includes the application of five key elements including a focused point of gaze, a specialised sequence of poses, specialised breathing technique using sound, the precise alignment of breath and movement, and the control of internal energy valves. Ashtanga Vinyasa is considered to be the modern-day form of classical Indian yoga.
